CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD
Supply Technician, MTCCS
Fort Johnson, Louisiana (FJLA) ATS is seeking a qualified Supply Technician who maintains and executes the supply and property accountability plan and implementing instructions for the Fort Johnson Berry Mission Training Complex (BMTC). Locates and moves materials and parts between work areas to expedite processing of goods, according to schedules and priorities, and keeps related records: Reviews inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders. Confers with supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials. Locates and moves materials to specified areas. Records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand. May update and maintain inventory records, using GCCS-Army. May also participate in reviews/reports on reviews of contract data requirements drafts and correspondence; preparation and processing of associated logistics management required data. Administers, prepares, reviews, and maintains the master records for the establishment and change of logistics plans. Attends functional and physical configuration audits and formal qualification reviews. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains and executes the supply and property accountability plan and implementing instructions for the BMTC.
- Maintain 100% accountability of all supplies and equipment.
- Locate and move materials and parts between work areas to expedite processing of goods
- Review inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders.
- Records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand.
- Update and maintain inventory records, using GCCS-Army.
- Administer, prepare, review, and maintain the master records for the establishment and change of logistics plans.
- Attend functional and physical configuration audits and formal qualification reviews.
- Support exercises and training events as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in an associated discipline, or High School and three (3) years general work experience to include all phases of Logistics/Supply Management
- Experience in / knowledge of logistics management plans and implementation directives to establish a disciplined environment necessary to ensure logistics life cycle maintenance.
- Ability to maintain a close working relationship with supervisor
- Ability to interface with MTC government personnel and training units to resolve logistics problems and ensure common understanding of applicable military standards and other directives as they pertain to life cycle maintenance.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Teams.
Clearance: Requires a Secret Security clearance
