MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in the banking or financial services industry. Experience in the administration and analysis of credit and working with commercial and/or mortgage loans preferred.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Assists loan officers with data input, analysis, risk determination, and coordination of loan closings with title companies. Performs entry-level professional credit analysis work that is basic in nature, works under moderate supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assists loan officers with data input, credit and financial analysis, risk determination, and monitoring and due diligence of existing loans and any new loan applications.
- Determines probability of default ratings on credit packages and makes a recommendation to approve or deny the applications.
- Interprets, communicates, and provides guidance to loan officers regarding association lending policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all assigned loans are properly risk rated, assigned loss given defaults are correct and performance status assignments are proper.
- Complies with proper credit administration practices as outlined in the association's policies and procedures.
- May assist in the development and analysis of various queries facilitating risk management, Quality Control, reporting and monitoring of compliance with lending standards and loan pricing.
- Assists senior-level credit analyst staff with loan applications as necessary.
OTHER DUTIES:
1. May perform collateral evaluations within delegated authority as necessary.
2. May perform credit and financial analysis, monitoring and due diligence review of various loan participation packages/opportunities with other lenders and Capital Markets.
3. Assists loan officers with complex/multi-entity loan originations received through the Credit Offices.
4. Assists Chief Credit Officer in completing coordinated projects as assigned.
