Job Purpose and Overview Under close alignment with their supply planning manager, the production scheduler is responsible for scheduling their/them assigned production lines to meet or exceed our customer service expectations for both order and quantity fill rates. This may include scheduling for multiple plants and may also require their/them to act as a material planner backup. The scheduler takes into account each line's thru-put capabilities and ensures the schedules created are attainable and do not exceed the line's daily capacity. On a daily basis, their/them is responsible for working closely with the plant production, material planning, QA, and warehousing departments to make sure that throughout the plant's supply chain, our customer needs are being met. The production scheduler establishes priorities for production when or if lines fall behind and prioritization is required. The production scheduler is also responsible for serving as the point of contact with customer service to quickly resolve service issues and communicate updates timely. The hybrid schedule is 3 days per week at the Denver, CO Manufacturing site. What will you do as a Scheduler II at Dawn Foods?
