Position Description:
The Dedicated Well-being Program Coordinator (DWPC) will work collaboratively with the designated client's health promotion team to carry out wellness programming and events at the client's locations around Baltimore while representing the employees' health plan offerings.
Located in Baltimore, MD, working a hybrid work schedule, the DWPC will be responsible for assisting the client in planning/conducting an indicated number of onsite learning/ programming events per year. The majority of his/her time will be focused on promoting and delivering the overall wellness plan the client has created. Similarly, the expectation is to engage with the client's population in a way that drives engagement with the client's wellness program. The DWPC will be a resource for the individual employer units in their health promotion activities. The event schedule will be decided/planned, with appropriate goals set, alongside the designated client and additional parties.
The DWPC will act as a customer advocate, a client ally, and a creative partner as well a point of contact with Customer stakeholders to increase participant engagement and maximize value delivered through the WebMD relationship. They can provide thought leadership and support program planning and impact assessment, as well as coordination and promotion of service.
DWPC's proactively identify opportunities for service delivery enhancement and improvement. They are process oriented and work to help create process where needed. As opportunities are identified, they work with other Client Services staff and the WebMD internal Account team to improve processes and develop new solutions.
In this role you will:
  • Assist with creating a wellness plan for the client
  • Assist with day-to-day delivery of established programs and provide new creative programming ideas with direction from the client and WebMD account team
  • Coordinate meetings and other communications (internal and external)
  • Coordinate the delivery of onsite events, including event promotion and employee engagement, across multiple client offices
  • Coordinate with additional parties where needed, taking into account any delivery timelines
  • Help coordinate, maintain, and plan specific events for Site Champion Network stakeholders
  • Help maintain Site Engagement Hub
  • Develop and maintain schedules and/or processes necessary to support the successful execution of client health education programs
  • Provide ongoing program performance review and strategy support
  • Support process improvement
  • Create a culture of well-being at the worksite level by being present and building relationships with company employees
  • Utilize at risk data to provide program recommendations and referrals to appropriate resources
  • Gain and maintain an understanding of client needs and project deliverables
  • Improve the healthy lifestyle behaviors and overall health of participants .
  • Keep track of client-based programming metrics and project status logs to show program impact
  • Assist in the production of aggregate reports which incorporate programming successes and recommendations
  • Other duties specific to the account as designed by the client or WebMD (e.g. supporting/promoting onsite events such as biometric screenings or other in-person health assessments, support fitness centers, etc.)
qualifications, skills and experience:
  • BS/BA in health-related field required, MS/MBA differentiator
  • Professional Certification from National Wellness Institute (NWI), The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), or the equivalent certification will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years Wellness Coordination or similar client facing experience required
  • Valid driver's license is required. Must be willing to regularly travel between office locations around Baltimore.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Business and technology services experience.
  • Professional presence and technical credibility to interact with senior-level customer contacts.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
preferred:
  • Personal Training or Group Fitness Instructor certification
  • 5 years Wellness Coordinator/Health Coaching or similar client-facing experience preferred
  • 2 or more years of delivering healthcare information products and services, especially consumer-facing interfaces and H&W administration, preferred.
