Job Description

The Asset Management Marketing Group aims to accelerate revenue generation through modern marketing, powering Goldman Sachs Asset Management to be a world class active asset manager. We help develop a fully connected client experience across online and offline channels while aligning data to personalize our client experience, facilitate cross-selling and measure marketing effectiveness. We strive to combine our investment industry knowledge, traditional marketing skills and contemporary command of data, technology, CX, content, and performance marketing to fuel growth for AM.
The Email Marketing Analyst is responsible for development, distribution and reporting of emails delivered via the Adobe Campaign platform and inhouse email distribution tools to the division's clients and prospects. This professional will work closely with other team members and integrated marketers to develop email campaigns and follow up reporting along with implementing industry best practices in current work stream.
Responsibilities:


  • Work with other team members including the content strategist, integrated marketers and design to create emails using templates available within the Adobe Experience Manager platform and/or by writing HTML using Dreamweaver.
  • Use Adobe Campaign to setup and deploy email campaigns - utilize Campaign Manager to setup queries to pull recipients dynamically from the CRM or via an ad-hoc excel list, utilize existing or create new workflow for the email delivery, generate proofs and obtain required approvals, approve emails for delivery, analyses results and report key findings to stakeholders.
  • Recommend and implement A/B tests for emails to improve engagement.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to automate multi-step campaigns utilizing Campaign features for drip and trigger campaigns.
  • Implement personalization and customized mailings using CRM data and user behaviors.
  • Liaise regularly with Digital Technology team members leading Adobe Campaign development on any issues and enhancements required.
  • Monitor trends in email marketing; utilize research and metrics to recommend improvements to our email marketing strategy.
  • Work with global team to ensure best practices are implemented and shared.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Experience executing email marketing campaigns via Adobe Campaign or similar campaign tool
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting HTML files
  • Experience conducting A/B testing for emails
  • Knowledge of defining and setting up multi-step campaigns including trigger and drip campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing campaign reporting to identify potential areas for improvements/optimizations
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in the use of CMS tools (experience with AEM is a plus)
  • Experience with project management systems (experience with JIRA is a plus)
  • Familiarity with different technologies and the ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
  • Ability to multi-task while working under pressure and overcome obstacles
  • Team oriented; able to interact effectively with all levels
  • Excellent client service skills, understanding of how to build strong relationships with internal clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
