You will contribute to the development of Seppic Inc Richmond's Health, Safety, and Environmental
(HSE) activities in compliance with local regulation and Seppic corporate requirements, in
collaboration with other site representatives and Seppic HSE direction.
You will contribute to this mission by:
* Process Safety: Managing EIS (Element Important for Safety) action plan on Seppic Inc
Richmond's plant
* Occupational Safety: Conducting and updating the site JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)
* Supporting the local team in managing safety on a daily basis: reporting of safety events,
facilitating safety talks, sharing of good practices...

In this background your job as HSE Specialist plays an essential and centric role. It is a job
where you have to make sure by your day to day actions that Air Liquide Safety standards are
deployed. Within all of Air Liquide Safety is our First priority. It is a pluridisciplinary job
requiring agility, curiosity, sense of contact with many different people, analytical skills,
passion and finally a strong ability to create and make things happen for improving safety
(preventive and corrective actions). In a nutshell: a great job where your job will be to
contribute to the process and occupational safety in the plant. It is also a job with a lot of
interaction with all the members of the plant.

Education:
* Master's Degree in Engineering
* Specialization in Process Safety if possible

Soft skills:
* Responsive and responsible team player
* Strong written and verbal communication skills including a high level of comfort developing
and delivering training and motivational presentations to all levels of associates is a must
* Ability to resume situations, to share information, and to report if required
* Ability to adapt to a different cultural environment

Hard Skills:
* Occupational and Process Safety
* Chemistry / Industrial processes (understands P&IDs)
* Knowledge of safety regulation in USA (EPA, OSHA, PSM, DOT) is a plus
* MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE

Languages:
* English fluency is Must have
* French is Nice to have
