Job Description JSF Senior Project Engineer Indianapolis, IN The Sen Project Engineer is responsible to execute Project Management of technical projects. The primary activity is management of component change projects (IR projects) per RR Process Change Board and Integration Approval processes. The Project Engineer is responsible to lead an integrated project team to execute the project from inception through implementation, via engineering processes. The PE must identify and form a capable team based on the subject problem or issue. The PE is responsible to lead the IPT through problem definition, root cause analysis, concept generation, benefits estimation, business case estimation, requirements setting, definition, validation, and implementation through IPT leadership and direct effort. The PE must be able to provide project leadership in order to secure and coordinate engineering and business support from supporting organizations. The PE must conduct project planning in accordance with technical and resource requirements, and manage project budgets per approved cost/accounting tools. The PE is also responsible for regular reporting on plan and budget status to key technical and business stakeholders. The PE is expected to coordinate requirements and facilitate execution of project tasks across the organization at RR, and in the supply chain. The PE is expected to facilitate implementation and first delivery (first parts to stores) of the changed component.
