Overview

As a Senior Account Executive specializing in technology equipment leasing and finance, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the technology space. You will leverage your deep knowledge of technology hardware, software and leasing models to build long-term, value-driven relationships with clients. Vendor finance programs, direct lease / loan origination experience is a requirement. This position is ideal for someone with a proven track record of successful sales in technology leasing or related industries, and who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Familiarity with the Technology OEM Ecosystem is a must-have.

YOUR IMPACT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the technology hardware leasing market. Develop a robust pipeline of leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement managers, and IT leaders in client organizations. Understand their technology needs and provide tailored leasing solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements in the equipment leasing sector. Use this knowledge to refine sales strategies and position [Company Name] as a leader in the market.
  • Consultative Selling: Serve as a trusted advisor by offering consultative advice to clients on how to best finance their technology needs. Provide in-depth product knowledge and leasing options to ensure customers make informed decisions.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transaction process for all leased equipment. Ensure that all necessary documentation and approvals are completed accurately and promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, with a deep focus on technology hardware leasing or related industries (e.g., IT hardware sales, asset management, equipment financing).
  • Strong knowledge of the technology leasing market, including understanding of lease structures, finance terms, and the technology products being leased.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Ability to engage in complex consultative sales and manage long sales cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation, closing, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with C-level executives, procurement teams, and IT directors.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
