Description

Essential Functions:



  • Performs all building repairs, including but not limited to, drywall, painting, sheet metal, small equipment repairs, lighting, woodworking, drains and plumbing.
  • Performs and documents inspections of sprinkler systems, emergency lights, emergency exit doors, fire extinguishers and sanitary cleaning of compressor rooms.
  • Maintains Rockline license to operator mobile equipment including forklift, scissor lift, snorkel lift.
  • Performs daily routine preventive maintenance tasks as well as troubleshoot and repair facility HVAC systems as needed.
  • Completes checks on facility, eye wash, fire extinguishers and other safety equipment and documents results effectively for audit purposes.
  • Keeps Rockline Booneville, AR facilities in a "Tour Ready-Audit Ready" status by assisting with any cGMP cleaning needed.
  • Ensures that all work is performed in a safe manner and carried out to completion and satisfaction of the customer. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility shall be considered a part of your performance.
  • As season dictates, performs ground maintenance including mowing, weed-eating, edging, weeding and planting.
  • All other duties as assigned including janitorial and other cleaning of facility.
  • Work all plant shutdowns and some weekends as needed for work schedule.

Education, Experience & Skills:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience maintaining a large facility; experience with welding, concrete installation, HAC, plumbing, wet sprinkler systems preferred. Computer skills equivalent to database entry (MP2) and interfacing with Microsoft Office equivalent programs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to quickly changing priorities. Proficient w8ith hand tools and power tools required to complete tasks. Good communication skills. Must be motivated self-starter that is able to work with speed and accuracy and follow instructions well. Must be able to work as a team player. Must maintain an outstanding attendance record.

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to communicate fact-to-face and over the radios.
  • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Constant standing and walking; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching with both hands. Occasional repetitive hand and foot motions.
  • Work environment includes infrequent noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and some fumes/odors.
  • Requires ability to read, write, calculate and reason.
  • Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
