Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in an off-site capacity. The successful candidate will bring expertise in Agile methodologies, .NET languages, and DevOps practices to drive strategy, architecture, and implementation of continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This role involves working on complex technology implementations in product-centric environments with a focus on both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy and oversee the architecture of continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring systems across various technologies.
- Implement and lead DevOps methodologies across diverse environments.
- Define Agile Scrum methodologies for enterprise-scale solutions.
- Facilitate deployments and ensure the scalability and efficiency of cloud-based and on-premises systems.
- Leverage Test Driven Development (TDD) to enhance software quality and reduce time-to-market.
- Develop and implement automated SDLC processes using state-of-the-art tools.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain system security and compliance standards in accordance with IT-II sensitivity levels and IAT-II IA levels.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Agile environments and DevOps engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have at least one of the following certifications CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC Security+ CE or SSCP.
- Expertise in all .NET languages and proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Proven ability to lead and define Scrum Agile methodologies for large-scale clients.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Comprehensive experience in automated software development lifecycle (SDLC) toolchains.
- Familiarity with deployments in both on-premises and cloud environments, using providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, and RackSpace/OpenStack.
- Proficiency with configuration management tools such as TFS, GitHub, Chef, Ansible, Salt, and LVM.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, LXC, Docker, Rocket, and OpenShift.
- Strong scripting or basic programming skills for problem-solving.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in development using multiple programming languages.
- Advanced understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Agile Scrum Master Certification
- OpenText Content Server System Administrator Certification
- Extending the ReadyDocs Solution (RDDEV).
- Advanced expertise with CIW HTML5 & CSS3.
Security/Certification Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance
