Job Overview

STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics to support our growing line maintenance station in Omaha, NE. As an A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting daily maintenance operations, ensuring aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards, and providing top-level service to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the U.S.


Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and collaborate with station leads to ensure the timely, efficient performance of all maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to deliver top-tier service.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices for aircraft maintenance.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair a variety of commercial and regional aircraft including Airbus A320, CRJ, and Embraer 170.
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to assess part wear, repair or replace components as necessary.
  • Work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions as required.
  • Other duties as required by the station.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft preferred.
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tools provided).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to pass background checks, drug and alcohol tests, and obtain Customs and Border Patrol clearance.
  • Basic-to-mid-level proficiency with computer and organizational skills.
  • Part 145 or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical specifications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $28 - $34/hour, depending on experience and formal training.
  • Yearly raises available upon performance evaluation.

  • Full-Time: PTO, Health Insurance, 401K
  • No benefits for Part-Time employees.
