Summary

The Assembler II Position is responsible for helping out in the carriage and drive base area. The Assembler II will be helping in the assembly department to ensure that orders are completed in a timely, cost effective and consistent manner to ensure a quality product and on-time delivery in accordance with company procedures and policies and meet internal and external customer requirements.

Requirements: Good math & measuring, blueprints, sold knowledge of hand & power tool usage

Essential Duties

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  1. Completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner along with meeting deadlines
  2. Collecting all material and equipment to begin the process
  3. Reading and comprehending instructions, reading blueprints and following established procedures
  4. Align material and assembling parts to build more complex units
  5. Wrapping, banding, crating the product so it is ready for shipment.
  6. Moving finished products to the staging areas.
  7. Ability to complete multiple drive bases daily
  8. Being on time and at work every day to ensure we are able to meet business demands.
  9. Able to work overtime on short notice

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus between near and far
