A Tax & Licensing Specialist I will perform a variety of tax and license tasks, and will acquire knowledge of the division's functions, processes and codes. Assists with non-complex investigations for suspected non-compliant businesses and provide leads to support to higher level Tax & License Staff. Assist with License applications and renewals. Provide training and education to internal and external customers, assist with daily processes, and ensure tax & license system integrity and maintenance. Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned.

  • Education: High school plus additional course work (equivalent to up to 1 year at a Community College or equivalent resulting in accumulation of similar knowledge and abilities).
  • Experience: 1-2 years; moderate previous experience in the same or similar previous positions.
