Overview
The Sorenson Legacy Foundation Center for Clinical Excellence (SCCE) seeks candidates for a clinical Psychology Post-Doctoral position (HR Title Clinician I or Clinician II) for one to two years. This position is contingent on funding. Applicants must have a focus on youth mental health. Located on the main campus in Logan, Utah, this is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month fiscal year position. Review of applications will begin February 15th and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is summer 2025, although a fall start-date could be negotiated.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychological services to youth and their families. It is expected that services will be provided in person and via telehealth.
  • Engage in outreach to rural and remote areas in Utah to expand the reach of clinical services to youth in the SCCE.
  • Engage in service and outreach activities to support the mission of the Sorenson Center, College, and USU.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Clinician I:
    • A student in a doctoral program in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, School, or Combined) who has completed internship and is ABD with plans to complete all graduation requirements within 6 months of hire
  • Clinician II:
    • A doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program (Clinical, Counseling, School, or Combined) and eligible for licensure in Utah as a Psychologist within 1 year of hire date
  • Experience providing evidence-based psychological treatments to youth and families
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a diverse and inclusive team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
  • Training and experience in behavioral parent training
  • Training and experience conducting psychological evaluations of youth for LD, ADHD, and Autism
  • Experience working in an interprofessional health care setting
