Overview The Sorenson Legacy Foundation Center for Clinical Excellence (SCCE) seeks candidates for a clinical Psychology Post-Doctoral position (HR Title Clinician I or Clinician II) for one to two years. This position is contingent on funding. Applicants must have a focus on youth mental health. Located on the main campus in Logan, Utah, this is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month fiscal year position. Review of applications will begin February 15th and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is summer 2025, although a fall start-date could be negotiated. Responsibilities Provide evidence-based psychological services to youth and their families. It is expected that services will be provided in person and via telehealth. Engage in outreach to rural and remote areas in Utah to expand the reach of clinical services to youth in the SCCE. Engage in service and outreach activities to support the mission of the Sorenson Center, College, and USU. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Clinician I: A student in a doctoral program in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, School, or Combined) who has completed internship and is ABD with plans to complete all graduation requirements within 6 months of hire Clinician II: A doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program (Clinical, Counseling, School, or Combined) and eligible for licensure in Utah as a Psychologist within 1 year of hire date Experience providing evidence-based psychological treatments to youth and families Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a diverse and inclusive team setting. Preferred Qualifications: Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
