JOB SUMMARY: MCSG is seeking a Project Integrator to lead a dynamic team of space modeling and simulation (M&S) subject matter experts dedicated to developing and deploying M&S capabilities to support U.S. Space Force (USSF) exercises. This Team Lead will manage the design, integration, and enhancement of simulation tools and ensure their alignment with USSF exercise objectives. The Team Lead will collaborate closely with stakeholders to meet mission-critical requirements, optimize M&S solutions, and ensure seamless execution during exercises. This position is at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, and requires on-site support.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Lead the daily operations of the 3IS III M&S development contractor team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality simulation capabilities tailored to meet USSF exercise objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including government stakeholders, to gather, document, define, and refine exercise requirements into actionable M&S plans.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for operational testing and acceptance of new M&S capabilities into the existing 392 CTS Battlelab M&S architecture.
  • Conduct regular reviews of M&S tools to identify areas for improvement and implement updates or enhancements as needed.
  • Provide hands-on support during USSF exercises, ensuring seamless deployment and execution of M&S tools.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical expertise and professional growth within the M&S team.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of M&S processes, system configurations, and exercise outcomes to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed of emerging M&S technologies and trends, recommending strategic adoption to keep capabilities at the cutting edge. Manage project risk using a standard risk management process (e.g., risk identification, quantification, and mitigation).
  • Interface daily with the Government customer to ensure the contract team is progressing toward accomplishing project work and deliverables.
  • Attend USSF exercise planning conferences, coordination meetings, training events, etc.
  • Attend technical interchange meetings (TIM), in-progress reviews, and programmatic-level meetings related to 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercises and mission-focused events.
  • Capture, analyze, and report observations and lessons learned identified during the design, planning, and execution of 392 CTS-hosted exercises and mission-focused events.
  • Support hot wash debriefs and After Action Report development for applicable exercises or mission-focused events.
  • Develop schedules, plans, and briefings; coordinate and monitor activities; and report on those activities through trip reports, briefings, meeting minutes, point papers, quad charts, etc.
  • Attend weekly organizational meetings, as necessary, to maintain awareness of the 392 CTS leadership priorities, tasks, and issues.
  • Carry out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience using STK, ODTK, and other M&S tools to plan analysis of orbital maneuvers, build functional orbital and space terrestrial models (e.g., space domain awareness (SDA), communications, electronic warfare, directed energy), and develop exercise scenarios.

  • Experience supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of space-related problems.
  • Experience modeling space scenarios for system evaluation and mission effectiveness.

  • Experience (i.e., a basic proficiency) in coding languages (e.g., Python, Matlab, Perl)
  • Experience in orbit analysis and prediction.
  • This position requires limited travel (3-4 weeks/year)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Level III certified in STK
  • Previously certified Orbital Analyst
  • Experience managing M&S projects from initial design to completion.
  • Experience supporting or participating in USSF's Space Flag exercise or other service or Combatant Command exercises.
