We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. Learning Coordinator I on our Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a week in the office.

The Sr. Learning Coordinator I, is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of learning
solutions across various programs, modalities, and systems. As a member of the Organizational
Development + Learning (OD+L) team, you will provide coordination, support, and
administrative assistance to ensure the effective implementation of learning
initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learning Operations

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations to support the successful delivery of learning solutions, including stakeholder engagement, supporting needs analysis and content development/approval process, and learner support.
  • Administer AMA's Learning Management System (LMS), publish new content, events, and sessions, manage rosters, pull reports, and ensure data accuracy within the system.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of live learning events, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communications.
  • Review and summarize data to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the OD+L team to design, develop, and curate learning materials and resources, as needed.

Administrative Support

  • Schedule hybrid, on-site, and virtual learning events and coordinate calendars efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records in the AMA's Learning Management System.
  • Respond to learner inquiries and provide user support for learning platforms and tools.
  • Assist in identifying and filling gaps in our content offering by curating, creating, and/or repurposing learning materials.
  • Assist with the design and development of learning materials and resources, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the OD+L team as needed.

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in an administrative, operations or learning role.
  3. Proven ability to coordinate and manage schedules, documentation, and records, with a focus on excellent attention to detail.
  4. Experience reviewing, understanding and reporting on data.
  5. Demonstrated capacity to learn and leverage new software tools and platforms.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  8. Learning experience design is a plus.

The hourly range for this position is $24.58-$31.91. This is the lowest to highest hourly range we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
