The Survey internship is an opportunity for students to be able to work during the Spring 2025 semester around class schedule and Summers 2025.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:



    • Responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew.
    • Major objectives are the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, meets regulatory requirements, public relations) of work, safety, and maintenance of equipment.
    • Operate survey equipment, maintain a safe work environment, protect, and maintain the equipment and vehicles and accurately and efficiently collect field data and locate features.


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



        • Currently enrolled in a four-year surveying or engineering college program preferred, or two year surveying associates degree.
        • Must meet academic requirements set by the University to participate in an internship.
        • Must have good technical skills.
        • Must possess behavioral traits of process oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, likes working alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail oriented and precise.
        • Must have experience in previous jobs working outside on a regular basis preferably in extreme conditions.
        • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record and a negative drug test.


        WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
