The Brand Marketing Team is looking for a results-oriented Project Leader to oversee and manage all in-store and online quarterly promotional activity for Home Depot. The primary function of a Project Leader is to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, on strategy, and with 100% accuracy. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, with excellent communication, and rapid problem-solving skills, as well as experience in managing complex projects & timelines from initiation through completion. They will also have vast experience in setting up new programs and change management processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Management: Helping to set project goals and leading strategic management throughout the quarter with working teams and stakeholders

  • Planning: Ensuring tasks are completed on time through meticulous planning

  • Team Management: Assigning tasks and ensuring working teams are working together effectively

  • Communication: Promoting clear communication and two-way communication with team members and stakeholders.

  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and preparing mitigation strategies to minimize impact

  • Tracking Progress: Monitoring and tracking progress

  • Decision-Making: Making sound decisions under pressure that align with project goals and objectives

  • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may impact the project's success

  • Periodic travel may be required (15%)

  • Advanced Project Management Skills

  • Provide multiple "what-if" scenarios to find the best solution to achieve future state. Well-rounded understanding of financial impacts of these scenarios.

  • Capability to quickly establish credibility and trust with different business units and functions, influence project teams and persuade professionals at all levels.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business or Related Field

  • Minimum4 years experience

  • Six Sigma Certification or training

  • Located in Milwaukee, WI
