JRAD is seeking a highly qualified Intermediate Contract Specialist (Infrastructure) to provide pre- and post-contract management support for procurement contracts related to supplies and services.

Roles/Responsibilities:

This role requires expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and strong contract management skills to ensure effective procurement processes and compliance with federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Award Contract Support:
    • Assist in developing and drafting procurement contracts for supplies and services.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and contracting opportunities.
    • Prepare solicitation documents and support proposal evaluation and negotiations.
    • Ensure pre-award activities comply with applicable FAR regulations and policies.
  • Post-Award Contract Management:
    • Monitor contract performance to ensure deliverables meet technical, programmatic, and financial objectives.
    • Manage modifications, extensions, and contract closeout activities.
    • Maintain communication with contractors, stakeholders, and government representatives to address issues and ensure alignment with contract terms.
    • Track and report on financial and technical milestones.
  • Policy and Risk Management:
    • Provide guidance on FAR compliance for procurement contracts.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract performance and deliverables.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed records of contract activities and performance metrics.
    • Develop reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders on contract status and performance.

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), specifically in the procurement of supplies and services.
  • Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
