  • Instill Safety as a top priority.
  • Manage and support a team of construction coworkers.
  • Build relationships and communicate with coworkers, owners, design partners, subcontractors.
  • Understand construction plans and documents.
  • Develop baseline and update CPM schedules.
  • Develop proposal schedules to support pursuit efforts.
  • Coordinate with project teams with the baseline CPM and CPM updates.
  • Resource/cost load CPM baseline when required.
  • Generate reports from the schedule.
  • Assist with contract administration including budget and change procedures.
  • Work together to resolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce.

Experience, Education & Skills Preferred

  • Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivations skills
  • 3 years' experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Desire to grow and develop career and mentor other coworkers.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Strong skills with Oracle Primavera, MS-Word, and MS-Excel.
  • Ability to comprehend construction drawings and to do quantity takeoffs.
  • Willingness to try and learn new computer software.
