Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and oversees the safety of the maintenance team as well as the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, buildings, and grounds. This role includes ensuring that capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while also maintaining the overall health of the facility's assets. As a key member of the plant leadership team, the Maintenance Manager is expected to be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree: with a minimum of 5years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; engineering focus preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of plant maintenance experience.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with AC/DC drives.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot PLC control systems.
  • Proven experience with electronic control systems.
  • Proven experience with three-phasepower and motor controls.
  • Proven experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Capital project development and execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff of skilled maintenance personnel.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage all facility and machinery maintenance, preventative maintenance programs and activities.
  • Ensure plant meets all safety, quality and environmental requirements.
  • Develops and implements maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and drive CMMS improvements.
  • Plans maintenance operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing equipment repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance.
  • Reviews operational schedules and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure production and quality of products meet both internal and external customer specifications.
  • Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
  • Develops or revises standard operational and work practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standard.
