Candidates must have an earned PhD in electrical engineering or a related field and expertise in or related to power electronics or wireless power transfer. The ideal candidate must demonstrate potential for or a strong record of externally funded research, publications, teaching competency, and professional leadership. Candidates are expected to build a strong program of funded research and to be strong teachers at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The successful candidate is expected to be a significant contributor to the ongoing growth of the ASPIRE: Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification, an NSF Engineering Research Center (https://aspire.usu.edu/).
