The successful applicant will develop an externally funded research program in organic chemistry; preference will be given to applicants with research interests that complement existing research in the department. Applicants must have earned a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline; postdoctoral experience in experimental organic chemistry is preferred. The position requires the development of a nationally recognized, externally funded, research program and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The teaching responsibilities will include organic courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Evaluation of applications will begin October 1, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled.
