Tablet Counselor Shirley, MA, USA Req #3304 Friday, January 3, 2025 *Offering a $5,000 bonus!* Location: Shirley, MA. Massachusetts Correctional Institution Shirley. Tablet Program Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with possible late night shift 12:00am-8:00pm Pay rate: $50,000/annually Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance Tuition reimbursement 401k with company contribution Paid time off Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment Qualifications: BA/MA or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education or closely related field required DOC experience and/or Alcohol/ Drug certification preferred This Tablet Counselor is responsible for: Ensuring that all inmates are provided with remote education in the assigned curriculum approved by the Department of Correction and are responsible for all documentation in the case records when needed. Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed. Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week which may include evening and weekend programming. Traveling across MA as needed.
