Job Description

As a Microsoft Power Platform Lead, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the EBI Power BI environment, as well as the other Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages. Embedded within the EBI Data & Analytics Team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, systems analysts, and other IT teams to deliver data-driven solutions that align with EBI's winning vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on championing the use of Power BI.

You will also be expected to bring a continuous improvement mindset to the role, actively seeking opportunities to optimize processes, enhance solution performance, and incorporate industry best practices. By fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency, you will help ensure our Power Platform capabilities remain reliable, agile, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that provide visual management and key insights for internal customers.

• Partner with business stakeholders to champion and align data-driven strategies with supporting governance frameworks.

• Manage the PowerBI service and on-prem environments, including administration, security, governance, and maintenance.

• Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Page solutions that automate business processes, enhance user experience, and integrate with other systems and data sources.

• Provide technical guidance and best practices for the Power Platform development team and the PowerBI user community within Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Power Platform and data analytics domains.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and managing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and visualization techniques.

• At least 3 years of experience in developing and managing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, including Canvas and Model-driven apps, and Power Automate flows.

• Strong knowledge of the Power Platform architecture, administration, security, and governance.

• Strong understanding of SQL, data warehousing, and relational databases.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, or related technologies.

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or related industries is preferred.

• Experience in working with Azure data services, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Proficiency in SQL, C#, JavaScript, and other programming languages and tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis is a plus.
