The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Variable to work with a researcher on a variety of research projects in adult and pediatric populations with cancer. The selected incumbent will provide administrative and research support to all studies. Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the PI, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Most of the duties will occur virtually or in one of two settings: the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Columbia University School of Nursing. This is a grant-funded role which currently has an end date of two years from the date of hire. Continued employment is contingent upon further funding. Minimum Qualifications - Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of related experience. A major or minor in health, psychology, nursing or related field will be given strong consideration. - Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (both written & verbal) skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children or adolescents is preferred. - Prior research experience (course work and/or school thesis are considered acceptable research experiences) -REDCap experience - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required as the study focuses specifically on Spanish-speaking participants Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Veteran Columbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents. |
