The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Informatics within the Strategic Information Student Casual provides support to the Strategic Information Unit staff to meet data needs and reporting requirements. This position is grant funded. Responsibilities Assist with the development and editing of presentations, reports and other project documents, such as SOP manuals and survey training materials (25%) Assist in the development and management of reporting and monitoring tools, and data collection tools (25%) Assist with the formatting of data tables in Microsoft Word and Excel (25%) Assist with other administrative activities (20%) Perform other duties as assigned (5%) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience Strong critical thinking, analytic, and verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in developing documentation and training non-technical users Other Requirements N/A Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Veteran Columbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents.
