Position: Japanese Bilingual HR and Administrative Officer

A growing international business consulting startup is seeking a Japanese Bilingual HR and Administrative Officer to join their dynamic team. This multifaceted role encompasses HR administration, executive support, and office management, all aimed at driving operational excellence and strategic growth across two divisions. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in high-performance, fast-paced environments. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in HR management, executive assistance, office administration, or corporate development.
Roles & Responsibilities
Human Resources Management: Oversee payroll, recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with all relevant HR regulations and policies.
Office Management: Cultivate a positive workplace culture by collaborating with vendors and addressing office needs. Manage office environment, technology requirements, and daily operations.
Executive Support: Manage confidential communications with discretion and professionalism. Create high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence for leadership.
Business Operations Support: Track the progress of business projects and flag key issues for leadership attention. Ensure smooth execution of operational and administrative processes.
Strategic Oversight: Align operations across divisions to enhance process efficiency. Support leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
5+ years of experience in HR, executive assistance, office management, or related roles.
Experience as an HR Manager or Executive Assistant is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proactive mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Familiarity with business consulting firm is a plus.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
