JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

Responsible for the supervision of cafeteria staff



  • Delegate workload to other department employees
  • Maintain order and discipline of kitchen employees.
  • Train employees in other areas as needed.
  • Assist in employee performance reviews


Assist in Managing daily lunch menu



  • Prepare daily menu items
  • Order supplies
  • Meet with staff daily to organize food leftovers and meals.
  • Act as back up for Manager when needed.


Supervision of catered events



  • Meet with events staff to go over party needs
  • Order necessary supplies


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

Education



  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Serve Safe Certification preferred


Experience



  • 2 years cooking and kitchen supervising experience required.


Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • Knowledge in nutrition preferred
  • Knowledge of cafeteria equipment required


Competencies, Skills & Abilities



  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required.
  • Ability to multi-task required.
  • Good organizational skills required.
  • Good people skills required.
  • Good math skills for recipe conversions required.


Working Conditions



  • Jobholder will stand approximately 50% of day and move about approximately 50% of day


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $47,740 - $66,837 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits:

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, hearing aid benefits, PTO, 6 paid holidays annually, 2 floater days annually, 1 volunteer service day annually, paid paternity leave, and tuition reimbursement.

This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
