Job Description

Job Summary:

This role focuses on web and app development activities via Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), involving the creation, enhancement, and oversight of a wide range of websites specifically designed for our enterprise's departmental and divisional needs.

Essential Functions Develop:

  • Software Development:
    • Design, develop, maintain, and deploy AEM components, templates, and workflows based on business requirements as defined in assigned user stories/tasks.
    • Integration with systems, third-party services, and other APIs to Develop custom AEM components and services using Java, JSP, and OSGi.
    • Configure and customize AEM authoring and publishing environments.
    • Monitor and optimize performance of AEM sites, ensuring load times and optimize AEM performance and scalability.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot AEM related issues via ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Keep detailed documentation of code changes, adhering to agile practices and maintaining organized code repositories.
    • Offer essential support for production systems and applications, including incident handling, problem management, code adjustments, and timely updates.
  • Digital Experience Delivery:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional agile team, including marketing, design, and IT, to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
    • Review and clarify business requirements to ensure understanding and translate them into technical solutions on AEM.
    • Stay up-to-date with latest AEM features and industry trends; recommend solutions that improve the overall digital footprint of AEM websites.
    • Guide staff on application design methods, enhancing team skills and knowledge.
    • Actively collaborate with IS&T Project Management and InfoSec teams in risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Deployment and Release Management:
    • Manage the deployment process, including code promotion, configuration changes, and release planning.
    • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing.
    • Monitor application performance and address issues promptly.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required.

Master's Preferred.
