AESC is looking to add a Quality Management System Engineer to our team in Smyrna, TN.

The Kentucky gigafactory in Bowling Green will supply Mercedes-Benz with high-performance battery cell modules. The South Carolina gigafactory in Florence will supply technology-leading battery cells for new electric models produced in BMW Group's Spartanburg plant. About the RoleAs a key member of AESC US LLC Quality Management Systems (QMS) Engineer, you will lead the Quality Management System initiatives and internal/external audit activities in line with the required industry standards (including IATF 16949, VDA6.3), accreditation requirements, and business requirements across existing and new procedures. You will be at our Smyrna, TN facility and reporting to the Sr. Manager of US Regional Quality, managing the audit program (internal and external) to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies and internal standards during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and continuous improvement objectives. You will work within our US manufacturing facilities, will directly impact our strategic goals, and contribute to our position as a global leader in battery technology. What You Will Do

The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic.
