Summary of Position

This position reports directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and will be responsible for various areas relating to financial reporting, including working with the Fulgent's independent registered public accounting firm to ensure that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (U.S. GAAP) and SECRegulations. This role will also participate in monthly reporting, quarterly SEC filings, quarterly reviews, year-end audits, and advising management on complex transactions from an accounting perspective. This position requires significant interaction with individuals internal and external to the organization, including senior management, independent auditors and other service providers. This position requires the ability to research accounting guidance, and interpret transactions in a clear and concise manner for multiple audiences. This position also requires the ability to acquire and appropriately apply knowledge of the following accounting functions:

Key Job Elements

• Responsible for assigned areas in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing
• process and reporting.
• Preparation of journal entries including, but not limited to the following areas such as fixed
• assets, prepaid, accounts payable review, accruals and accounts receivable and respective
• reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Review general ledger details for proper classification, cut-off, and completeness.
• Analyze and assist in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience

• Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting.
• Four plus (4+) years of progressive experience.
• CPA is highly preferred with experience in public accounting and auditing.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.

Abilities/Skills

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Extensive experience in month-end closing either from preparation or auditing standpoint.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity to be able to adhere to regulations and its total
• compliance.
• Effective planning and organizational skills; results oriented; and possess the ability to
• competently manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Commitment to positive teamwork and high level of attention to detail.
