Inova Fair Oaks is looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the team. This role will be Full time Days.

IR Tech 1 Job Responsibilities:



  • Assists radiation safety by maintaining safe practices.
  • Assists team and customers with prompt room turnover.
  • Recognizes adverse clinical situations and helps other personnel to do so.
  • Accurately implements computer orders for all Interventional Radiology functions.


IR Tech 1 Additional Requirements:



  • Work schedule: Full Time Days
  • Education: Vocational/Technical in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography
  • Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital
  • Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start; American Registered Radiologic Technologists registry eligible. American Registered Radiologic Technologists certification must be obtained within one year of hire
  • Experience: None required
