United Community Bank is seeking an IT Process Automation Specialist to join our RPA team. This individual will work from our Auburn, Illinois location and will be responsible for developing and deploying script-based automation, databases, and low code IT solutions. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. This position will be in office and is not eligible for remote placement.
Responsibilities:
-Evaluate urgency of issues, select, and take appropriate steps toward resolution or escalation
-Provide proactive communication and notification to users of pending or upcoming problems, outages, or other service issues
-Develop and Deploy Automation Solutions: Utilize low-code/no-code platforms to design and deploy automation applications that improve efficiency.
-Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand process challenges, gather requirements, and translate them into functional solutions.
-Optimize Business Processes: Analyze existing workflows and identify areas where automation can reduce complexity, eliminate redundancies, and increase productivity.
-Integrate Systems: Create seamless integrations between various tools, applications, and data sources to ensure automated processes operate smoothly across systems.
-Test and Maintain Solutions: Conduct thorough testing of automation workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates as needed to maintain efficiency and reliability.
-Provide Training and Documentation: Educate users on new tools and processes, and create clear documentation for solutions, workflows, and best practices.
-Monitor Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of deployed solutions, collect feedback, and refine automations to align with evolving business needs.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-An Associate's Degree or Vocational Training in Computer Science/MIS from an accredited college, university, or vocational program or equivalent experience. We will consider candidates nearing completion of their degree.
-Experience with PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, XML or similar scripting and logic experience
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-Professionalism and customer service experience
-The ability to interpret and follow written and verbal directions
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong technical aptitude
-Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of achievement
-The ability to pass a Federal background check
