Implant Coordinator Operating Room Full Time 82654BR Job Summary Works on complex procurement assignments where analysis of situations or data requires a review of operating room schedules and surgeon requests. Has authority to make purchase requisitions within broadly defined dollar limits. Exercises judgment to determine the most effective methodology to acquire requested implants, including tissue. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, with general direction provided on implant requisition assignments that are more complex or unique. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Joint Commission requirements in tissue procurement and documentation, and organizational policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $82,300 - $123,400 (Annual Rate). Our primary focus is tertiary/quaternary surgical care using team based staffing. Our complex surgery uses the most advanced technology, including hybrid suites and robotic surgery. Services include but are not limited to: General Surgery, Urology, Transplant, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, OHNS, OMFS, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery. Required Qualifications
