Job Description US:MD:HUGHESVILLE PART TIME PURPOSE: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical-minded individual to join our team as a Data Analytics Intern. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, insights generation, and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. THE JOB FUNCTION INCLUDES: This list provides a general statement of duties to provide the intern with the opportunity to learn the standards within the industry and the cooperative. This list is not considered to be exhaustive and may be enhanced as processes change. * Assist in collecting and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights. * Support the data team in the maintenance and management of data systems and databases. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver accurate reports. * Participate in the development and implementation of analytics models and algorithms. * Help in preparing regular analytics reports and dashboards using data visualization tools. * Engage in the continuous improvement of data quality and analytics processes. * Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS: * Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. * Proficiency in coding (e.g., R, Python) and familiarity with SQL. * Basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks. * Eagerness to learn and ability to grasp new concepts quickly. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. WORKING CONDITIONS: Mostly indoors, onsite with possible remote access 2 days per week. This position pays$18.00/hr. Notice of Equal Opportunity Employment
