Job Description Design Engineer - Mechanical Systems Indianapolis, IN A new opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer for Rolls-Royce. As a design engineer you will provide mechanical designs and technical support for a range of components and sub-systems on the AE product line. This will include turbine section vanes, blades, blade tracks, structural components, and assemblies. While the turbine section will be the main focus and development depth, flexing to work on other component and subsystems within the AE engine family will help the Design Engineer develop breadth and contribute in crucial ways to the Program's success Innovate & Power the World At Rolls-Royce, we look beyond tomorrow. You will work to create design definitions that meet the given sub-system requirements and product attributes.This is an exciting role where you will be able to apply your strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and understand cross-discipline engineering concepts which include, but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, compressor aerodynamics, thermodynamics, cost engineering and product definition.
