The Assistant Program Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of a design-build project. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in project management within the construction industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop, implement, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.

* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure alignment on design, scope, and execution.

* Manage and facilitate communication between stakeholders, including governmental agencies, contractors, and community representatives.

* Assist in the identification and management of project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring timely resolutions.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation related to the project, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.

* Prepare project status reports and presentations for stakeholders, detailing progress, challenges, and milestones.

* Participate in regular project meetings to track progress, discuss challenges, and coordinate activities among team members.

* Support budget management efforts by monitoring expenditures, tracking costs, and assisting with financial reporting.

* Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting effective teamwork and communication among project personnel.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field.

* 3-5 years of relevant project management experience in large-scale construction projects, with a focus on design-build methodologies preferred.

* Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulatory requirements related to institutional projects.

* Proficiency in project management software (e.g. ACC, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to perform physical activities such as walking and standing for extended periods.

* Willingness to work both in an office environment and onsite at the construction project, with potential flexibility for evening or weekend work.
