Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

The Data Integration Engineer will design and implement solutions for integrating data from various sources into cloud-based systems. This role focuses on ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.

Responsibilities



  • Lead data integration efforts; design, develop and deploy complex data integration solutions.
  • Developing integrated data solutions, modernizing, consolidating, and coordinating business needs across several applications.
  • Integrate data from various sources into cloud-based systems.
  • Work to build adaptors and APIs with multiple data sources.
  • Performance tuning and optimization of all Data Ingestion and Data Integration processes, including Data Platform and databases.
  • Building and testing new/updated data flows and ensuring the data meets the business needs.
  • Support Data Analyst and Business Stakeholder in analyzing and resolving any data issues as required.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data integration requirements.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Experience in data integration and ETL processes.
  • Understanding of data Schema modeling (Dimensions, Measures, Slowly Changing Dimension).
  • 10 or more years proven hands-on experience as a Data Integration engineer in Integration Space.
  • 8 years of experience across SQL, Oracle, DB2, Amazon Redshift, Postgres database systems.
  • 2+ years' experience with data wrangling (R, Python for data processing).
  • Expertise in data integration tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS.
  • Experience with Cloud Data Platforms - Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera etc.
  • Experience with BI Analytical tools - Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy etc.
  • Expert level knowledge in area of data modeling (e.g., keys, logical, subject areas, referential integrity).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, extreme pressure, and tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.


Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: United States - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
