Get to Know Your Team:

  • Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.

Responsibilities

  • Individuals within this job classification must be able to perform MRI procedures, schedule procedures, and be able to initiate new procedures.
  • The technologist must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology and/or be registered or registry eligible.
  • He/she will participate in performance improvement activities.
  • The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Must be able to help move patients when needed.
  • Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the department.
  • The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide care needed as described in the department's competency plan.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
  • Competency in components of Radiography and MRI practice as appropriate.
  • Current ARRT license (upon hire)
  • BLS (upon hire)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 1 year experience
  • Advanced MRI preferred
