Get to Know Your Team:

  • Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervising and coordinating healthcare services in the Mammography department and assists with the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Mammography dept.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties while maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics to assure appropriate patient care and daily operations meet the needs of a changing working environment.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the MQSA and American College of Radiology regulations and requirements for accreditation.
  • Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, oversees the performance of Mammography technologists and performs all mammography procedures and produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with advanced certification in Mammography
  • Active BLS certification

Prefered Job Requirements:

  • Advanced certification in Quality Management and or Bone Density
  • Two years of directly related experience in a hospital setting with supervisory experience
