Position Summary
The Gallippi lab is searching for a temporary Clinical Nurse Research Coordinator to oversee and manage all logistics associated with human studies conducted by the Gallippi lab. This will include, but not be limited to, clinical studies including patients with renal transplant, carotid atherosclerotic plaque, and musculoskeletal disorder, assessment of patients for study enrollment, enrollment into research studies, execution of study procedures, collection of data, and limited analysis of data.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent); for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, will accept a relevant Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience in substitution. May require terminal degree and licensure.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Relevant experience in substitution;
Strong communication skills and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with UNC Institutional Review Board. Knowledge regarding medical research, clinical trials, data collection, and human subjects.
