Position Summary

We are looking for a Manager, Website Analytics to join our team! We are looking for ambitious, analytical, hands-on problem solver who can manage multiple projects. This individual should have a strong interest in granular reporting and impactful storytelling.

The position also requires the ability to understand the strategic communications needs of the client and align these needs to the day-to-day issues of data and reporting. It is also important to understand and have hands on experience with website analytic platforms as well as understand the strategy behind impactful analytic insights.

Responsibilities



  • Manage multiple projects and adhoc requests


  • Be part of a team and create clear path to success for analysts


  • Provide intellectual leadership and analytic creativity


  • Assist in enhancing marketing material for services


  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with planners, clients and other partner agencies


  • Experience with website analytic implementations that go beyond the out of the box setup


  • Experience transitioning from one website analytic platform to another.


  • Design and manage execution of custom analyses


  • Apply substantial amounts of independent critical thinking


  • Ensure high quality in data and analytics deliverables


  • From the analyses, uncover business opportunities


  • Work to improve automation and reduce human error in data processing and analytics


  • Work with on and offshore team members as we as other agencies on client accounts


  • Ability to take partial ownership of taxonomy and data layer services


  • Assist in scope services on perspective new business / clients


  • Support client onboarding in all phases (audit, measurement strategy, taxonomy, reporting)


Required Skills and Experience



  • 4+ years of experience in an analytics function


  • Experience with website analytic platforms such as Google and Adobe


  • Ability to scope an analytic solution out of a vague business problem


  • Ability create measurement plans (tag values, advanced taxonomy)


  • Extensive experience presenting and interacting with clients


  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members


  • Strong understanding of measurement and analytics, with the ability to provide meaningful insight to the client as well as internal teams


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint


  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team


  • Comfortable actively participating and contributing in meetings with multiple stakeholders


  • Capacity for problem conceptualization and solution design through analytical thinking


  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience developing a robust story that explains both the what and why of the story with actionable recommendations.


Desired Skills and Experience



  • Experience using syndicated Analytic tools (Adobe, GA4, etc.)


  • Experience using dashboard tools (Tableau, Looker, Domo, etc.)


  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data


  • Ability to investigate, analyze and solve problems as well as clearly communicate results through requirement documents independently


  • Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly


  • Ability to effectively work independently or a part of a team in the office or remote


  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and possesses the ability to prioritize multiple tasks


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment


  • Proficiency in SQL (executing queries, creating / maintaining tables + views, window functions)

The salary range for this position is posted below.
