Medical Scribe Lubbock 39414BR Position Description Charts encounters between physicians or other practitioners and patients in real time and organizes health care data to maximize efficiency and productivity of clinical care in real time during medical exams. Complies with specific standards that apply to the style of medical records and to the legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical documents and for keeping patient information confidential. Complies with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information. Major/Essential Functions This position will primarily be responsible for the following: Assisting physician with physical examination of patients Assisting physician with scribing medical encounters with patients Assisting physician with managing message box and organizing workload accordingly Assisting with the provider in creating a working process that maximizes efficiency during clinical rotations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience OR science related education.
