We are searching for a talented Ambassador-Gift Shop Clerk Sr

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Flexible shifts and hours; 8:00am - 2:00pm/3:00pm - 7:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

Position Reports to the Team Leader, Gift Shop or designee. Monitor daily operations of the gift shop; meet, greet and assist public and staff in selecting gifts and other merchandise; engage in service to the public, sell, check in/ price new items and assist buyers. Organize plan for the display and presentation of merchandise with consideration to established marketing plan and for effective support of sales; change displays regularly with a consideration to buying audience and season; support and work with volunteers in stocking and displaying merchandise. Monitor cashiering and receipting the sale of merchandise by cash and charge transactions and perform such duties as required; maintain sales records and make daily reports. Make bank deposits. Assist and participate in the bi-yearly inventory of merchandise and stock. Support volunteers and create weekly schedules. Prepare training for volunteers and participate in daily correspondence with volunteers. Add and maintain inventory in POS System. Office support as needed. Additional Ambassadors functions as needed.

Qualifications

Equal to the completion of 4 years of high school is preferred.
Retail and cash transaction experience is preferred.
Some supervisory experience needed. Use of cash register and retail sales experience is helpful.
Excellent customer relations skills are required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
