JOB SUMMARY:
SMBC MANUBANK is seeking an experienced Director, Digital Marketing Strategist professional to join the Marketing team. This role will report into the Head of Marketing, Commercial Banking and will create and manage the digital strategy and roadmap to help build brand awareness and assist with business development opportunities. Responsibilities include day to day website maintenance, while building the digital strategy roadmap. This role is expected to establish project scope and plan, be responsive and provide quality support to the organization, and track effectiveness of web and digital suite of products.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and support the overarching strategic vision for the digital marketing transformation
- Help build out digital properties to scale growth of organization
- Create, prioritize and maintain a digital marketing roadmap based on organizations goals including effectively communicating roadmap to leadership and stakeholders, and product requirements to external vendors
- Lead design and initiatives for new capabilities, experiences and a roadmap for content and experience across the platform
- Lead the execution of digital initiatives such as features/functionality, content, and experiences for the site based on user value, organizational needs and technical feasibility
- Prioritize features and maintain product backlog for digital marketing platforms and channels based on user value, organizational needs, and technical feasibility
- Define and drive key performance indicators and success metrics for B2B content and experiences Leverage data to uncover trends, identify user segments and funnels, and to inform product decisions for website digital platforms and channels (ie: user experience)
- Work closely with external vendor(s) to implement new content on website
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure website and digital suite of products are aligned with overall strategy and in alignment with briefs
POSITON SPECIFICATIONS:
- Build out data analysis capabilities and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve digital marketing ROI
- Benchmark and report on continuous improvements to digital marketing performance to executive leadership, including high-level digital marketing ecosystem progress as well as more granular campaign-level analysis, and spearhead data-driven improvements to strategy and execution
- Build and leverage digital design system to ensure brand consistency, dynamism, and operational efficiency across digital marketing platforms and channels
- Facilitate high-velocity B2B customer acquisition and demand generation, ensuring search, social and media align with overall business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the bank to spur digital transformation in line with broader business goals
- Scope and implement (as sensible) novel digital marketing technology and strategy to drive continuous improvement
- As appropriate, drive cross-functional teams to scope and integrate digital marketing technology stack with the firm's technology stack
- Eventually build a team of specialized digital marketing subject-matter experts focused on efficient, strategic execution, manage their performance effectively, foster a cohesive and inclusive work environment and develop their talent to meet both organizational and individual goals
