DRS Marlo Coilmanufactures robust heat transfer, refrigeration, and air handling equipment for industrial, commercial, utility and marine markets. Our custom engineered heat transfer solutions are used in a variety of configurations to cool, heat, and dehumidify air streams for process and building comfort. Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze material and program reports to understand issues and create action plans
  • Manage capacity planning tool (Preactor) to support shop floor execution
  • Schedule, release, and manage work order release
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the planners
  • Create and maintain special reports
  • Interface with production and engineering to understand and resolve issues
  • Enforce company and department policies and procedures
  • Monitor metrics and take action as appropriate
  • Actively involved in program closure activities
  • Communicate and clarify departmental goals and metrics
  • Responsible for ensuring monthly budgets are not exceeded, takes action to realign to plan if budgets are exceeded
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering or equivalent experience A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in high technology, aerospace or defense
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production planning management tools and procedures
  • Demonstrated management skills, particularly "influence management" and "conflict resolution"
  • Strong internal customer interface skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing manpower planning, program reviews, scheduling and budget control
  • Must have a successful track record in managing complex aerospace/defense production planningactivities
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
