Mechanical Assembly Technician Lead

Shift Availability:

• 8 hour day shift position = starting at 7:30am.

What you'll do...

Lead and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians responsible for assembly, disassembly, set-up, troubleshooting, and testing of machines and sub-assemblies' systems.

• Lead and coordinate mechanical technicians.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, setup, and testing of machines.
• Diagnose and repair complex systems.
• Guide technicians and ensure project accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers on technical solutions.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements.
• Mentor and support other technicians.

What you'll need...

• Requires one of the following:
  • Associate's degree with an emphasis in mechanical systems and eight (8) years of mechanical assembly experience, OR
  • Ten (10) years' of relevant mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• Meet the requirements of the education, experience knowledge, skills and abilities of the Mechanical Technician III
• Demonstrated mastery in mechanical machine process control systems
• Experience mentoring and reviewing technicians work
• Prior experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines, tooling, components and equipment
• Understand production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related information
• Up to 40% domestic and international travel. At times, critical business needs may require more travel.
• Ability to travel as required to production facilities to assist customers
