Description: *MUST HAVE Active Secret Clearance and Security+ certification **This role is 80-90% travel. Must be willing to travel! TEKsystems is looking for Traveling Network Technicians for a 10-12 month project that is slated to go through 2025. The project will be swapping out different networking equipment, including: Cisco Routers + Switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), etc. The right candidate will have experience with: * Decommissioning + configuring + troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls * Racking + stacking servers * Strong oral + written communications skills This project will be supporting the newly built DoDNET and helping get the agencies ready to migrate prepared for that migration by upgrading outdated equipment across the world. Travel will be mostly CONUS but there is a chance there will be some OCONUS travel. Additional Skills & Qualifications: This is a role where they will be traveling 80-90% of the time, as there are 250-300 sites that 10 teams will have to get to across the country and some sites that sit overseas.
