Description: Cable Technician in NM We are looking to fill 2 experienced resources. The client is supporting a commercial data center in Los Lunas NM. Los Lunas is about 30 minutes south of Albuquerque. These individuals need to have cat 5 and 6 cabling experience to punch down and terminate cables. they will be running precut cable through basket trays. patch panel and server swapping experience preferred. Fiber optics is a plus. know their color codes. They do have a team that does some fiber optics work. These individuals will be doing both inside and outside plant work around a construction site pulling low-voltage wiring. They are working on a project and they would like to have folks going 6 months to hire. They would like to see licensed candidates. Electricians need to have them highlight what they have done with cat 5 and cat 6 cable-punch downs and terminations. they hired a lot of green candidates a couple of months ago and are looking for experienced technicians this go around. They just finished up their first data center and are starting on the next one. This will be a long-term project to be a part of the growth and development of a major data center and future long-term work within the organization. They have a number of buildings going at one time which is driving the need to have additional resources. ** licenses are a plus at this time.
